In an effort to help voters as they prepare for the upcoming Primary Election on August 6, 2024, the Kitsap County Republican Party has endorsed the following legislative candidates:
Jesse Young for 26th Legislative District State Representative Position 1
Michelle Caldier for 26th Legislative District State Representative Position 2
Dan Griffey for 35th Legislative District State Representative Position 1
Travis Couture for 35th Legislative District State Representative Position 2
Chair McMahan said, “We will be holding a special meeting of our PCOs on June 3 to consider endorsements for the rest of the positions up for election in August. We know anyone can claim to be a Republican, but voters often reach out to our party asking for help to identify candidates who are the most closely aligned with our principles. By making early endorsements, we can help both solid candidates and caring voters. We hope these early endorsements will encourage citizens to engage with candidates and become more involved in the election process.”
